About Recycling vs. Not Recycling:

  • Recycling: Practiced since the 1930s, the process turns used materials into new products, reducing the need for fresh raw materials and energy and preventing pollution. Electronix Recyclers follow the “Reuse, Reduce, and Recycle” process.
  • Not Recycling: Non-functioning equipment is broken down into core component parts. All tags and stickers are removed, and it is then sold to reprocessors.

Refurbished Computers:

  • Benefits: Most refurbished products are as good as new and much cheaper. Technicians inspect these computers to decide if they are fit for refurbishment or recycling.
  • Types of Refurbished Items: Desktop Computers, Notebook Computers, Server Computers, Computer Monitors, Keyboards, Mouse/Mice, Printers, Telephones, Power Supplies, CD and DVD Drives, Hard Drives, PCI Cards, Memory Modules, Cords, and Cables.
